Dr. Kateland Swanborg - Veterinarian

Dr. Kateland Swanborg graduated from the University of Missouri in 2026 and is excited to serve the pets and families of the Rochelle community.

Originally from a small town near Decatur, Illinois, she was drawn to Rochelle both for its welcoming atmosphere and its proximity to her husband's hometown. Her professional interests include ophthalmology, and she looks forward to further developing her knowledge of exotic animal medicine with the goal of expanding those services at Rochelle Veterinary Hospital.

Outside of work, you can find her outside with friends and family, hiking with her dog, Poppi, or fishing. When she's not outdoors, she enjoys unique thrift store finds, painting, and curling up with a good book alongside her cat, Ollie.
